Doctora en Farmacia por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ha trabajado en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid desde 1976, donde en la actualidad es Catedrática de Farmacología a tiempo completo.
Líneas de Investigación:
- Actividad y función vascular de la ATPasa Na+,K+ dependiente.
- Estrés oxidativo y función vascular.
- Papel de los mediadores de las isoformas de NOS y de la COX en el mantenimiento del tono vascular. Alteraciones con la edad e hipertensión.
