3. Validation of NRF2 as a druggable therapeutic target in neurodegenerative diseases
Our team has been working on the understanding of molecular bases of neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation and has been searching for new pharmacological targets, with particular interest on the transcription factor NRF2, that might provide a neuroprotective benefit as add-on therapy for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
